Before we can carry out your first ticket request, there is a short setup procedure required. Please carefully read the instructions below:
You will have received an email from mailer@obd.help to your registered email address.
On this email you will find a link to our customer portal where you can set a password to your account.
Once you have set a password for the account you will be able to log in to our customer portal where you can create and manage tickets.
You will have also received an email from GoCardless with direct debit mandate agreement. This is how we will take payment for any jobs carried out.
Please can you sign and return this before using your remote for the first time.
All payments will be taken automatically 5 working days after the ticket is completed.
We recommend you install the Telegram app and add us, @a1remote.
We use Telegram to speak to customers should you ever have a query about coverage, pricing, or anything else! All of our technicians have access to our Telegram account, so this is the fastest way for us to answer your questions.
That's it! You are now ready to use your A1 Remote. When you next have a vehicle that requires our help:
1. Plug the A1 Remote in the vehicles OBD Port
2. Wait for the lights on the LAN port to start to flash (around 30 seconds)
3. Connect the ethernet cable into the LAN port and wait for a solid green light.
4. You are now online and can navigate to a1-remote-diagnostics.obd.help to send a ticket through to us!
